Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband Churchill Olakunle sues her for calling him a fraudster and ritualist

Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband, Churchill Olakunle wants nothing less than N500m from her over defamatory comments she made about him in one of her online interviews in 2019.

Olakunle Churchill’s relationship with actress Tonto Dikeh in 2014, and on August 25 of 2015, the duo got married.

Fast forward to 2017, the couple were having issues in their marriage that led to separation and subsequent divorce. Both parties occasionally call each other out on social media, although they share a son King Andre from their failed union.

In a recent development, Churchill is now suing Tonto over the videos she released in 2019 on her YouTube channel. In the said video, the Rivers state indigene slammed her ex-husband as a cheat and alleged that he is an internet fraudster as well as a ritualist.




In the lawsuit notice which has him as the 1st claimant and Big Church Foundation as the second claimant, Churchill stated that the allegations are baseless and sponsored to tarnish and damage his image and political ambition.

According to Churchill, Tonto Dikeh was aware of his political decision and decided to ruin them with the YouTube video. He then went on to say that the actress should pay the sum of N500M for the general damages incurred by him over the malicious and false publications.
