Funke’s name was removed from the list over the weekend which caused mixed reactions on social media.
Genevieve Nnaji whose name is now on the list hasn’t confirmed it yet and with this new development, Genevieve will play the Black Panther’s guards – the ‘Dora Milaje’.
Recall that Finke Akindele was listed to take the role, Dora Milaje, the personal bodyguards of the Black Panther, recruited from every tribe of Wakanda. Her IMDb page had also listed the movie as one of the films the actress has appeared in.
Come to think of it, an average Hollywood movie, requires months and sometimes, years of preparation (production processes) before it’s eventually released. For instance the first Avengers movie titled, Avengers: Age of Ultron was announced two years before it premiered and took about a year production time.
So are we saying the production of a Hollywood movie for May is still not finalised?
