Police warn IPOB against May Day protest in Abuja

The Nigeria Police has warned the Indigenous People of Biafra against street protests during the May Day celebration in Abuja on Monday.
Commissioner of Police of the Federal Capital Territory, Musa Kimo said intelligence indicated that the protest may result in breakdown of law and order.

The command also advised FCT residents to go about their lawful duties without fear of molestation “as the command is well prepared and possesses the necessary wherewithal to confront any threat to the serene peace in the FCT.”
