Nigerian safety professionals advocate compliance to global standards

With projections putting Nigeria as one of the world’s leading economies by 2030, the American Society of Safety Engineers has advocated the need for adherence to global safety standards.

The Association maintains that the issue of safety management has become even more critical due to the increase in disasters and mishaps especially in construction.

And according to the President of the American society of safety engineers, Herbert Nwaka the association is determined to increase its advocacy to ensure professionals comply with standards to prepare the country ahead of the projected booming economy.
