The Isolo unit command of the Federal Road Safety Corps on Friday hosted an advocacy rally to sensitize men of the national union of road transport workers and drivers on the need to install speed limiters on their vehicles.
Speaking at the programme FRSC Isolo unit commander Hauwa Olowokere noted that Overspeeding is responsible for a large percentage of road crashes in the country hence the initiative by the Corps.
She enjoined the drivers to embrace the initiative in order to safeguard their lives and that of their commuters.
Representatives of the Road transporters, motorcyclists and tricycle riders also spoke about the initiative and how it would protect them.
Drivers at the event received free eye screening.
