Ogun police parade 23 suspected robbers, kidnappers and cultists

Police in Ogun State have paraded 23 suspects who were arrested for different crimes ranging from armed robbery, kidnapping, cultism and illegal possession of arms. While parading the suspects at the state’s headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, said the suspects were arrested from various locations in the state, and no fewer than 21 assorted guns, which include three AK 47 rifles, were recovered.

He noted that the operatives of the Federal Special Anti-Squad received an information on the hideout of the notorious gang on Monday August the 22nd and they went after them.

The CP added that the operation led to the arrest of one notorious armed robber and kidnapper popularly known Abraham.

He advised criminals in the state to turn a new leave or relocate as the police will make the state inhabitable for them.
