His Royal Majesty, the Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Oba Kabir Shotobi has called on residents of Ikorodu to be calm as strategies to end insecurity in the area are in top gear.

He said this while receiving the All Progressives Congress, APC Lagos executives in his Palace.

TVC News correspondent Ola Awakan reports that it is the first courtesy visit by the executives of the Lagos APC led by its Chairman, Henry Ajomale, to the paramount ruler of Ikorodu kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, since his coronation in 2015.

The essence is for the Ayangburen to share his perspectives with the executives of the ruling party in Lagos on how development can be enhanced in the area.

Guests say the meeting will enhance mutual relationship between the king and the party organ in Lagos.

On the issue of insecurity in Ikorodu, Oba Shotobi commended the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode for his promptness in ensuring that the people of the land sleep with their two eyes closed.

The event was used as a medium to call for a robust relationship among the APC organs, the government and the traditional rulers, that will foster nation building.
