TVC E. Nigerian Multi-talented artiste who grew up in Ghana, Mr Eazi has come up to say most of Nigeria’s sound beat has Ghanaian influence in it. He made this statement in a new interview With HoneyPot during TVC Entertainment splash on the (13th of January 2017).
Fast rising act Mr Eazi fanned the flames of most music lovers in Nigeria yesterday when he tweeted that Ghanaian music has influenced Nigerian music.
✔@mreazi : Ghana’s influence on present day “Naija Sound” cannot be over emphasized!!!
Of course Nigerians were not having any of this. Many came out to lambast the singer. But Eazi was not done. He went further to say that even though Nigerian music is enjoyed all over Africa and the rest of the world, Ghanaian music is the new bounce.
Below are the reply he got from Nigerians:
1. Nigerians have made love for Ghanaians until jollof rice or ‘who makes better music’ is mentioned. #mreazi
2. Mr Eazi , how was your Twitter experience with Nigerians last night?
3. @mreazi , May be Mr Eazi is just a talented Ghanaian spy that came to form musician here and then steal the secret of our jollof rice?
Men are scum
But despite all this, we have to ask our selves if Mr Eazi said the truth. Has Ghanaian music influenced Nigeria’s?
What are your thought?
