Davido has been accused of not honouring a Festival of India concert which held in Lagos on Saturday, August 13.
The singer, Punch gathered, was scheduled to make an appearance at the concert but failed to show up, prompting guests to feel his inclusion on the roster of performers was a ploy to deceive them into
It was further revealed however, that the singer was duly invited but told the organisers on Friday night, a day to the event, that he was indisposed.
Davido’s lawyers have reportedly been contacted by the organisers of the event who are hoping to get a refund of the fee paid to him. The fee is said to be in the region of N7million, the publication stated.
The festival, which held at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Onikan, is a collaboration between International Society of Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and the India Disapora in Lagos. It is designed to bridge the cultural gap between India and Nigeria.
