Nigerian street-hop artist Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, aka Portable, has been arrested by the Kwara State Police Command for alleged criminal defamation and related offenses. His arrest followed a petition by Mr. Okunola Saheed (aka Osupa), accusing the singer of threats, incitement, and conduct likely to cause public unrest.
Portable was apprehended in Abeokuta on April 13, 2025, under a warrant issued by an Ilorin Magistrate Court and later transferred to Kwara State for investigation. Police confirmed his statement was taken in the presence of both parties’ legal teams, and he remains in custody pending court charges.
