Nigerian singer Portable has publicly called out Burna Boy, accusing the Grammy winner of ignoring his messages after gifting him ₦20 million. The cash came shortly after Portable’s celebrity boxing win over Speed Darlington, which Burna Boy celebrated with the generous gesture.

Despite the money, Portable now says what he truly wants is a music collaboration. “The 20M will finish, what I really need is a verse,” he lamented in a trending video. He claims Burna Boy hasn’t picked his calls, replied to his DMs, or shared contact info since the gift.
While Burna Boy has yet to respond, the Zazu Zeh crooner’s plea has sparked conversations about celebrity validation, support, and clout-chasing in the Nigerian music industry.
