Elon Musk, known for his vocal concerns about global depopulation, has reportedly fathered another child with Shivon Zilis, an executive at his brain implant company Neuralink. According to Bloomberg, Zilis gave birth to Musk’s child earlier this year. This adds to Musk’s growing family, which includes twins he shares with Zilis, three children with musician Grimes, and six children from previous relationships, totaling twelve known offspring.
Musk has consistently expressed his worries about declining birth rates, claiming it poses a significant threat to civilization. He reiterated this belief recently by sharing a chart on Twitter about Europe’s “fertility crisis,” remarking that civilization may end “with a bang or with a whimper (in adult diapers).” He has repeated similar statements in various interviews, emphasizing the severity of the issue.

These revelations come amidst a backdrop of multiple allegations against Musk regarding inappropriate workplace behavior. The Wall Street Journal recently reported on Musk’s alleged sexual relationship with a former SpaceX intern who later rose to an executive position within the company. Additionally, another employee claimed she refused Musk’s requests to have children with him.
Last week, eight former SpaceX engineers filed a lawsuit against Musk, accusing him of creating a hostile work environment through inappropriate sexual content and behavior that demeaned women and the LGBTQ+ community. These allegations are part of a broader pattern of reported discrimination and sexual harassment incidents at SpaceX, including a case where Musk allegedly propositioned a flight attendant for sex.
