Vin Diesel is making a long-awaited return to the sci-fi franchise that catapulted him to stardom. The fourth installment of the “Riddick” series, titled “Riddick: Furya,” is finally coming to fruition, with Diesel reprising his iconic role and David Twohy returning as director.
Production for “Furya” is slated to kick off on August 26, 2024, with filming locations spanning Germany, Spain, and the U.K. This marks the culmination of years of effort from Diesel and Twohy, who have been striving to bring this project to life. The storyline of the upcoming film sees Riddick returning to his homeworld, facing new challenges alongside fellow Furyans battling a formidable foe.
Details about the cast are still under wraps, but Diesel will not only star but also produce the film alongside Samantha Vincent, Thorsten Schumacher, Lars Sylvest, and Joe Neurauter.
