Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds Clash in Intense ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ Trailer

The second trailer for Deadpool and Wolverine showcases Marvel’s favorite frenemies in action. This third installment in the Deadpool series takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for the first time. The trailer features Deadpool and Wolverine in intense combat set to the iconic tune of Madonna’s “Like a Prayer.”

Deadpool opens the trailer by expressing his fear of losing everything he cares about, to which Wolverine responds, “Not my problem.” This leads to a fierce battle where Wolverine slashes Deadpool’s crotch with his claws, prompting Deadpool to retaliate with several gunshots.

Amid the chaos, the trailer includes lighter moments as the two share a meal, discussing their inner struggles. The film brings back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Fans last saw Wolverine in the 2017 film Logan.

Shawn Levy directs the film, which also stars Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen. Producers for Deadpool and Wolverine include Kevin Feige, Ryan Reynolds, and Levy, with several other notable names as executive producers.
