Kanye West might be losing out on the children’s custody battle with his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian amidst their ongoing divorce proceeding.
All of this is a result of his absence at the November 16 deposition with Kim and their respective attorneys for a question-and-answer session under oath, outside of a courtroom.
According to legal experts, avoiding a deposition in litigation is treated seriously by the judge, particularly when it is a repeated offence.
Kanye will have another chance to appear in court on November 29, before a two-day trial on December 14. If he however fails to appear again, Kim, could be a step closer to being granted full custody of their four kids, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
Just so you know, Kim and Kanye are currently working on how to share their more than two billion dollars in combined assets after seven years of marriage.
Last month, it was also reported that Kanye’s lawyers have filed a declaration of disclosure, a sign that their case is on the verge of coming to a close.
According to the documents, Kanye has turned over all of his financial information to his estranged wife’s legal team and has also reached an agreement with her on how to divide their finances and property.
