Nigerian Dad Warns Son To Avoid Dating Girls From Poor Background (SEE VIDEO)

Nigerian dad and writer identified as Ola on Twitter has set the internet on fire as he revealed that he admonished his son to never get into a romantic relationship with a girl from a poor family.

He asserted that ladies from underprivileged homes are inherently entitled and don’t value small gestures. He claims that they consistently have faith in and demand more from the males.

He continued by saying that the majority of them don’t believe in love and look to males to save their families from hardship.

The man is therefore saying he would advise his own son to marry within his own level or even higher.

He tweeted “I told my son yesterday to avoid dating a girl from a poor background. In my dating experience, most of them don’t believe in love, they just want to escape their unfortunate conditions.

“More so, they’re the saviours their families are banking on to lift them out of poverty. They don’t appreciate little things; they believe you can do more.”

Reacting to his tweet Tope Mark Odigie said “Life is hard enough, let’s not complicate things with your relationship, marriage is very important and in many cases marrying right can set you up for good and marrying wrong can derail your destiny totally so I understand when people are careful when it comes to marriage.

“Marriage should be a complementary effort towards growth and I think this is a conversation worth having.

“For some people, the agenda is that ‘ I want to marry my way out of poverty, some parents even tell their children to marry a rich man to help their family situation,” she added
