It is a big responsibility to make sure that whoever you choose to win, is a representative of the music and it speaks well of the profession too.

How did you feel when you got the mail from Grammy?

The exciting thing about it is that a lot of Grammy winners from different parts of the world started to write to me for us to keep in touch and up till now some random guys sent me the names of their nominees and I can only vote 14 categories.

How do you finally make up your own voting list?

We get updates that come every day that reminds us of our responsibility and to make sure that whoever you vote for, is based on our own assessment, we need to experience their music etc.

We are told not to vote based on region or friendship but to be very objective with our voting.
