Tiwa Savage’s ‘Koo Koo Fun’ Was Wack! Reactions To New Music Videos In Afrobeats

We are witnessing an interesting time in African music history as well as we have seen the battle and conversation on Amapiano sound, how it’s going with the infusion of afrobeat and Amapiano sound together in a song

The way music is evolving today is interesting and we love it, it’s deviating from what afrobeat us to be to something all over the place and everybody wants to be on it.

However, the brand-new smash song “Koo Koo Fun” by music sensation Tiwa savage with the popular American electronic dance music DJ combo Major Lazer, Major League DJz, and DJ Maphorisa has just been released.

While the song is probably the biggest Amapiano debut of the year (given the star power involved), it has drawn mixed reactions from fans on social media, especially on Twitter.

Ex BBNaija housemate, Erika wrote, “Koo koo fun is definitely catchy, easy to sing along to and puts you in a good mood did the song not make you smile?
Broadcast Journalist @BuchiLaba wrote, ” If you don’t like Koo Koo fun By Tiwa Savage and the rest then you’re a hater! That song will break records! It’s going to be number 1 tomorrow. – We support good music here”
Another user wrote, “That everyone is giving an honest opinion abt newly released “Koo Koo Fun” by Tiwa is far from a dope song doesn’t mean wizkid fans hyping “Bad to me” should think they have an opinion, cos both songs are like identical twins”
However, reacting to the new song by Tiwa savage, Zainab a guest on the Wake-Up Nigeria show said,
“Everybody wants to jump on the trend and I think that is why self-acclaimed African Badgirl has given us this! Although it is wack, it will grow on us.
Well, I feel it was playing time in the studio, and she just want to have fun. You don’t come from performing with Branding to this!” she added.
