How did you do your research for your role as Officer Titus?
Officer Titus was one major story that really really push me out there. It was funny because even Daniel who played alongside me was the one who inspired Officer Titus years ago.
He needed to do a content of them and he called me to do it with him and became a hit. I kind of studied it because when I have to play a character I always study the character I really want to make it as real as possible because it is really not about acting it’s about being the character so I study them and ask a lot of people about it.
When I did a couple of episodes people actually thought I was a Lasma official. In fact, when I am on the road I command traffic and I get compliments.
Do you think from here on your will be stereotyped as a man whos always in uniform?
The thing when I started out acting, people just used to give me bad guy stuff. Just look at me and be like, just look at the eyes, this guy is a mean guy and the uniform just fit. It just feels like when I pull this off and I am wearing a uniform I am a superhero.
So a point in time I was stereotyped as being a bad guy. I never knew I could do comedy or be funny really because in life io realized that whatever you do, you keep discovering who you are daily no matter what capacity you are in. After officer Titus, I started d getting calls for funny characters no more the bad guy.
The thing is, I feel like whatever I do, whatever character I play as an actor, I always do it so good and people feel like this guy is so good and this is who this guy really is.
