You will need to add chief to the name of singer Portable the next time you meet him on the street because he is the newest celebrity to receive a title. The singer was named the Amuludun of Tigbo, Aworiland, in a town in Ogun State.
Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable has set the internet agog after being conferred with a chieftaincy title in Ogun state.
On his Instagram profile, Portable posted some footage from the coronation ceremony and informed his followers that he had been appointed a chief.
He wrote, “Thank God for making today a blessed one for me, may we all witness our happy day in good Health and Joy.
“World Tigbo day, join me in celebrating my coronation today Chief AMULUDUN OF AWORI TIGBO LAND NKI YIN OO”.(sic)
In other posts made by the singer, during his coronation, he was spotted with several other Chiefs in the town who blessed him for gaining his new title. Portable was also spotted with the popular Fuji artiste, Obesere.
The term ‘Amuludun’ in the Yoruba language refers to one who makes a town happy.
He also posted the poster of his coronation activities with Fuji star, Obesere, as a guest artist.
Nevertheless, the news has left Social media users across the country to react differently to Portable’s coronation
