The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has suspended its staff, Philomina Chieshe who claimed that a mysterious snake swallowed N36Million kept in a vault.
Over the weekend, there was a viral report of a JAMB staff, Philomina Chieshe in Markurdi who said a snake is responsible for swallowing the angency’s profit which was made through sales of scatch cards from JAMB state offices and other centres.
Head of Information, JAMB told newsmen that “Chieshe has been suspended and she’s going through the disciplinary committee.”
According to Mr. Fabian, a team of auditors were dispatched to different JAMB offices to take inventory of sold and unsold scratch cards and recovered the generated money.
Chieshe was said to have told the team that she couldn’t account for the N36m cash kept in the vault.
