Reality Tv star Kim Kardashian, spoke about her struggles during the pregnancy of her 3rd child, Chicago.
Recall that earlier, Kim had announced the birth of her daughter via surrogacy, on her website, she also posted an emotional message about how difficult it was for her not to have been able to carry her own baby.
I have always been really honest about my struggles with pregnancy with my past pregnancies i suffered from both preeclampsia and placenta accreta. so when i wanted to have a 3rd baby the doctors said it wasn’t safe for my- or the baby’s – health to carry on my own.”
She also explained the technicalities involved in their use of a surrogate for her daughter’s birth, saying that the baby is biologically hers and Kanye’s, she wrote;
Although I have used surrogate in the past, a gestational carrier is actually the technical term. Since we implanted my fertilized egg in our gestational carrier, our baby is biologically mine and Kanye’s
Kim further added that contrary to peoples assumption that using a surrogate is the easy way out, it was not easy for her;
It was so hard to not carry my own child especially after I carried North and Saint”
In her reality tv show KUWTK, she revealed the reason she had kept her surrogate’s identity secret;
I don’t want people to find my surrogate, like I don’t want them to harass her”
Also recall that Kim had posted a cryptic photo of the Louis Vuitton logo shortly after the announcement of her 3rd baby’s arrival, leading fans to speculate about the name of her baby. She finally cleared the air by revealing that the post was just about fashion and the name of the baby is Chicago West.
