BBOG holds annual lecture today

TVC N. The Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement has lined up eight days of activities to commemorate the third anniversary of the abduction of the schoolgirls starting from today.

While 57 of them managed to escape, four have been found, 21 released and 194 are still missing.

By 3pm today Friday, the movement will hold a press conference at the entrance of the presidential villa in Abuja, while prayers and tree planting will hold on Friday and Saturday respectively.

The group has been resolute in its demand for the release of the victims despite harassment and intimidation from the powers that be.

Muhammadu Sanusi II, emir of Kano, will be the guest speaker at the inaugural annual Chibok girls lecture, which will hold at Transcorp Hillton Hotel in Abuja on Friday, while Grace Alele Williams, a professor, is expected to grace the occasion as chairperson.
