Kwoi town in Jaba Local Government Area has witnessed an earth tremor, causing panic and forcing people to temporarily leave their homes.
Residents report strange vibrations and deafening sounds that lasted hours.
This is not the first time Kaduna is witnessing such. In July, a tremor caused cracks on a rock in Hayin Magina.

But the Kaduna State government has appealed for calm.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s media aide, Samuel Aruwan says the state has made a formal report to the appropriate authorities, who will investigate, report the event precisely, and issue guidance.
He notes that steps are being taken to comfort the residents of Kwoi.
