Jidenna speaks at White House summit on education

Nigerian-American musician Jidenna has taken his message of inspiration to the White House.

The Grammy nominated singer was part of the “Beating the Odds” Summit; an initiative by the U.S First Lady Michelle Obama to help students overcome substantial obstacles to persist through high school and make it to a post-secondary institution.

The Stanford graduate shared his university experience and how it currently helps him in the music industry.

Other panelists were Secretary of Education John King, Tyler Oakley, and Rachel McKenzie Scott.

Currently working on his Wondaland/Epic Records debut album, Jidenna released “Little Bit more” to critical acclaim.
