Yoruba actress, Mide Martins on Sunday, June 5, 2016 received a posthumous Episcopal Award in recognition of her late mother and renowned actress, Funmi Martins from Cathedral Church of St. Mathew Ijebu-Ijesha, Osun State.
Late Funmi Martins died from cardiac arrest in 2002. The respected actress is survived by a son and daughter – Mide. Until her death, she was an active member of the Cathedral Church.
