One of Nigeria’s foremost recording companies, Premier Records has released a single by legendary Musician Pa Chris Ajilo featuring Banky W and the new sensation making waves in the saxophone space, Korede Sax.
According to the development manager of the project, Michael Odiong, the label which also did the collaborations between Victor Olaiya and Tuface Idibia is committed to bringing a change to the way the younger generation appreciate works from older musicians.
The classic is a remake of “Eko O Gba Gbere”, sang by Pa Chris Ajilo and released in 1956. At the making of the video, the veteran musician said he is happy his song is being re-recorded.
