Amosun urges workers to support Ogun mission to rebuild

Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun has appealed to workers to continue to support the government in its developmental programmes.

He noted that the government will continue to ensure that their salaries are paid as and when due.

The governor made this known during the 2016 workers’ day celebrations held at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta.

The workers appreciated the governments’ effort at ensuring stability in the state, but want improvement in some areas including workers welfare and payment of gratuity.

They also want the government to review the contributory pension scheme and come up with a concrete solution.
