Late Alasari’s wife crushed to death by a truck

Barely five years after losing his live in a car crash, Adeola Durojaiye, wife of Late actor, Ishola Durojaiye, aka Alasari, died last Friday after being hit by a truck at Adatan area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The mother of one was reportedly knocked down as she was getting off a motorbike, and had died on the spot.

According to report, Adeola had been one of the wives of the late Yoruba movie actor, Isola Durojaiye, who was popularly known as Alasari, and had also died on a car crash in March 2011.

An unidentified witness, who saw the incident on Friday reports that the truck rammed into Adeola from behind, bringing about her instant death.

“The truck crushed the woman from behind as she was trying to disembark from an okada. She died instantly,” the eyewitness said

Muyiwa Adejobi, the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer confirmed the occurrence.

He said, “The accident occurred at Car Wash in Adatan on Friday, where a truck crushed a woman to death. We later got to know her identity as the wife of the late Yoruba actor and movie producer, Ahmed Isola Durojaiye popularly called Alasari.”

The remains of the deceased were interred at late Alasari’s home at Elega, in Abeokuta on Saturday morning.
