TVC E. The Portuguese winger admits he did not like the Dutchman’s coaching style and believes the current side cannot be recognized from the glory days of Sir Alex Ferguson.
Former Manchester United attacker Nani has criticised Louis van Gaal’s management style, insisting the Dutchman treats his players like children, while he is concerned at the direction the club has taken.
The Portuguese winger spent eight years at Old Trafford, winning four Premier League titles and the Champions League before he was deemed suprlus to requirements when Van Gaal arrived.
Nani, who was sent out on loan to Sporting in 2014-15 and then sold to Fenerbahce last summer, felt certain from the early days of the 64-year-old’s reign that he would not get a fair chance.
The 29-year-old admits he disliked the way he and his assistants treated players, stating he disagreed with their focus in training while revealing he suffered from not being able to enjoy the confidence of his bosses.
“He didn’t use me a lot in pre-season,” Nani told reporters “I was the player who had the least time in all the games and I was feeling: ‘This coach doesn’t count on me’.
