TVC E. Chidinman Ekile, one of Nigeria’s finest female musicians, has confused us the more on her response about dating Flavour.
There have been rumours circulating concerning Chidinma, who won MTN Project Fame in 2010, most especially after her recent video with Flavour. When asked if she is in a romantic relationship with Flavour, she answered YES and NO.
During the interview, Chidinma addresses rumours about her love life, relationships with her colleagues in the music industry.
She said, ”The truth is, most people assume. The public has given me so many boyfriends, and funny enough, I haven’t met some or had a conversation with them.
Talking about Adams, he is my friend, we have been friends for a long time and it is normal for people to attach something to it most especially if it’s a relationship with the opposite sex. I have other friends too, like Dammy krane, flavor himself, to mention but few.
However, I have understood that things like this are part of the business and I just have to manage it.”
The singer continued, ”well, it is more than four years down the line and I don’t expect people to think I will remain the same. I am growing. I have heard a lot of comment about me being a good girl and now gone bad but really that’s not the case, I am just like every other person. For example, “E mi baller” video made people perceive me wrongly and of course, I had to pass the message the best way I can so I don’t dilute the essence of the message and I taught that was the best way I could do it. I have seen new things, gone to different places, met with people, and all this put together has changed a lot of things, so they shouldn’t expect that young Chidinma they knew some years ago. I won in 2010, calculating that to today is really a long time coming for me.”
