A 24 year old Bollywood actress, Pratyusha Banerjee, has been found dead in her apartment from apparent suicide after she had been found hanging from her ceiling fan.
According to report, the police made the discovery at her home in Mumbai Goregaon, today, April 1, 2016, even as India has been thrown into mourning.
Banerjee who was made popular for her roles in TV series such as Balika Vadhu, Bigg Boss 7, Sasural Simar Ka amongst others, had reportedly been rushed to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri before being declared dead upon arrival.

Mumbai police spokesperson, Dhananjay Kulkarni, while confirming the news said that the hospital has reportedly sent a report on the actress’ death.
Reports further reveal that the police are currently investigating the probable causes behind Banerjee’s suicide, although some ‘personal reasons’ are said to have been behind the suicide.
Actor Dolly Bindra, has reportedly revealed that no one from the film industry believes that Banerjee had actually taken her own life.
