Reps honour UNILAG’s best graduating student

TVC E, NEWS  – The House of Representatives on Wednesday applauded the academic feat attained by 29 year old Ayodele Dada who polled a five point zero cumulative grade point average from the University of Lagos.

At a special session to honour the award winning graduate, the lawmakers urged students and other youth to  take a cue from Dada’s attainment.

National Assembly Correspondent, Joke Adisa reports that it was a standing ovation for a  young man who defied the challenges of the country’s education sector to excel.

In a society where youths are more into societal vices, the legislators say Dada’s achievement must be celebrated.

At the special session, the House  suspended its rules to admit Dada into the chamber and paid tributes to his commitment to excel.

Dada is at the National Assembly at the instance of House Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila, his representative in the House.

Speaker Yakubu Dogara admonished Ayodele Dada to be cautious of women, money and alcohol.

House Leader, Gbajabiamila has promised to assist the young man achieve his dreams and ambition as a way of encouraging other students .
