TVC E, POLITICS – The Senator representing Ondo Central in the upper chamber of the national assembly, Omotayo Alasoadura says it is time for the federal government to explore bitumen as another means of generating revenue into the nation”s coffers.
Alasoadura, made the statement while officially declaring his interest to govern the state at the party’s secretariat
TVC”s Ayodeji Moradeyo reports that the race for the governorship election in Ondo is getting hotter by the day as more and more people are showing interest in the race
The latest entrant is Senator Omotayo Alasoadura, the senator representing, Ondo central.
The venue of the event was jam-packed with supporters of the Senator who came to identify with him in a carnival like atmosphere.
Alasoadura said he is in the race to bring rapid development to the state and urged the federal government to look towards exploring bitumen as another source of revenue generation
For him, it is not do or die affair but believes that the party leadership will be transparent in the conduct of its primary election.
He is not also bothered about the increasing number of aspirants in the party.
The state chairman of the party, Isaac Kekemeke said there will be a level playing field for all the aspirants but warned the against any form of attack on the social media
With the governorship election slated for November, more declarations like this is expected from other aspirants
