I don’t have regret in giving out Lands to Credible Bloggers, Journalists – Olowokere

The Ex-Chairman of Ondo State Property Development Company, Dr. Akin Olowokere, speaking at the press in Lagos has described the Nigerian Unity Museum Trade_Tourism Village (NUMATVILLE) project designed to underscore the essence of creating a permanent structure to project the concept of National unity in Nigeria, and also said he has no regret giving out lands to credible bloggers, entertainers and journalists.

 

Olowokere admits that, the NUMATVILLE project is coming at a time of great national stress and threat to national security and unity from many angles.

He also said, “The Nigerian Unity Museum and trade-Tourism Village is designed first of all to redress the past imbalance and furthermore, to enable all the cultural;, touristic and corporate entities and structures that are relevant to our collective national interest and aspirations to be centrally located”.

Olowokere emphasized that, the NUMATVILLE PROJECT will hence make it possible for an encapsulated tour of the entire national potentials within a single locational synopsis.

 

“it will be conducted, operated and managed by our firm, the Zion Services Nigeria Limited, as a private-sector driven project, Olowokere said.

The federal ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development has also given approval for the convocation of a Stakeholders forum as soon as possible, where every desirous Nigerian citizen and corporate ideas toward the successful take off of the project”.

Therefore, the scheme kicked off in January 11th and so far has awarded about 80 plots for beneficiaries and buyers.

 

Dr Akin Olowokere has served in the Nigerian army, Navy, Presidency and so on.

He was condemned to death during Abacha’s regime, being the prison for 4 years, and was released when General Sani Abacha died.
