A big shout out to Desmond Elliot as he turns 42 today.
The former Nollywood super star is a graduate of Economics from the Lagos State University. He had his primary education at the Airforce Primary School and also attended St. John’s College both in Jos, Plateau State.
Desmond Elliot who was born to a Yoruba father and a mother from Delta can speak and understand Yoruba, Igbo, Ibibio and Hausa fluently.
The actor cum politician has stared in a lot of films including a number of television shows and soap operas. He started acting in soap operas such as ‘Everyday People’, ‘One Too Much’ and ‘Saints and Sinners’ early on in his career. Among his notable directorial works are Men Who Cheat, Yahoo Millionaire, Atlanta, Bursting Out, Holding Hope, Nollywood Hustlers, Before the Light, Edikan, Okon Lagos, Final Tussle, Guilty Pleasures and many others.
Desmond Elliot ventured into politics in September 2014 when he declared his intentions to run for the Lagos State House of Assembly under the flagship of the APC. He won the Surulere Constituency in the April 11, 2015 general elections.
The lawmaker is married and has four children.
