DPR seizes 1114,000L of diverted petrol in Adamawa

TVC E, BUSINESS – The Department of Petroleum Resources has seized more than 114,000 litres of Petrol diverted by filling stations in Adamawa State.

DPR Controller of Operations, in charge of Adamawa and Taraba States, Musa Akenn Sunday, made the disclosure to TVC News in Yola.

The  product  was immediately sold at  pump price of N86 : 50 to motorist.

Speaking on the development, the secretary of the state chapter of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, Ibrahim Gayus, admonished its members to desist from the act.

Mr. Gayus urged members of the association to support the federal government’s efforts to ensure steady supply of the product nationwide.
