MSSN celebrates first class graduates in Lagos higher institutions

The Muslim student society of Nigeria has celebrated students who graduated with first class Honors and distinction in Lagos state higher institutions.

The honour is part of the group’s contribution towards celebrating Lagos at 50.

According to the group these students deserve to be the face of the success story of the state.

Attendees at the awards noted that the country has paid lip service to the reward of academic excellence instead it celebrates values that add little or nothing to the growth of the economy.

They lamented the attitude of government and private sector to the growth of intellectual work in the academic environment .
