Key stakeholders review Osinbajo’s Niger Delta visit

Key stakeholders in the Niger Delta peace talks have described the recent visit of Vice President Prof Yemi Osibajo, to the region as below expectations, arguing that critical issues towards lasting solutions to the crisis are yet to be resolved.

Prominent Niger delta activist and executive secretary of the united Niger Delta energy Development security strategy, Tony Uranta and Joseph Evah, say the conditions given to president Muhammadu Buhari by leaders of the region are yet to be met.

Uranta condemned the refusal of the government to name a negotiating and dialogue team to lead the peace talk.
