Justice Lewis Allagoa  began his judgement by  tackling other grey areas in the case such as whether the court has jurisdiction over the matter or not and the issue of the suit not being properly filed.

Done with all these, the Judge  addressed the issue of tax forgery levelled against Governor Ikpeazu.

According to him,the issue of forgery should not have arisen as Ikpeazu was not the manufacturer of the tax document. The Judgement  elicited reactions from lawyers present at the court.

The third contender for the Abia state Governorship seat, Friday Nwosu filed a suit against the judgement of the Federal High court which declared Dr Sampson Ogah as Governor-elect of Abia State.Nwosu believes that the Federal high court, Abuja should have declared him Abia state Governor-elect rather than Ogar, hence he filed the suit.

It was not clear at press time whether Nwosu will appeal this judgement of the Federal high court, Owerri.
