Producer of Empire releases hit Series “Star” Starring Queen Latifah

Queen Latifah had landed a lead role in a music-themed television series created by Empire’s Producer and Director Lee Daniels.

The series trailer was premiered at Fox’s Upfront presentation and it centers on three young women in Atlanta, Georgia, who form a girl group and are forced to navigate the seedy side of the music business.

Other stars in the series include Award Winning Singer and Actor Lenny Kravitz, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny and Brittany O’Grady.
