“I only slapped her and went to work”- Lekan Shonde, Dr Odumakin speaks

Josephine “Joe” Obiajulu Okei-Odumakin a Nigerian women’s rights activist, and the president of the rights groups Women Arise for Change Initiative has decided to speak on the domestic violence case.

If people die from slaps then most of us will be dead but that is the story Lekan Shonde is telling and he’s standing by it. Human Tights activist, Joe Odumakin met with Lekan Shonde, the man accused of killing his wife in Lagos and according to Odumakin, Lekan maintains that his wife was having an affair and he only slapped her and went to work on the day of the incident.

So who told the maid not to come to work that morning? And why was the door locked from the outside?
