Actor Isaiah Washington, who appeared on Grey’s Anatomy, is giving up acting.
The actor, well known for playing Dr. Preston Burke on the medical drama series, recently announced the news on Twitter and blamed the decision’s startling outcome on the haters.
Isaiah Washington hinted in a tweet that he might be done playing the part of Bass Reeves in the movie Corsicana, which he also wrote and directed.
He tweeted, “I’m announcing my early retirement from the entertainment business today with a heavy heart and a sense of relief. Everyone who has followed or observed my trip on *BLEEP* since 2011 is aware that I have done my best to fight the good fight, but it appears that the haters, provocateurs, and useful fools have prevailed.
