“I Don’t Want to Die”: TG Omori Calls for Prayers After Failed Kidney Transplant

Renowned Nigerian music video director ThankGod Omori Jesam, better known as TG Omori, has reached out for public prayers following a failed kidney transplant.

The director, who has been relatively low-profile recently, revealed that he underwent the transplant after battling kidney failure for the past year. His brother served as the kidney donor.

In a heartfelt message shared on social media, TG Omori expressed his distress, stating, “One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicolas Hospital in Lagos. Pray for me.” He later tweeted about his experience in the operating room, emphasizing his determination to survive: “Went into this theater three times; I wasn’t destined to die today.”

This announcement follows his previous comments on social media regarding the detrimental effects of fake alcoholic beverages, which he believes have contributed to his health issues and hospitalizations throughout 2023.

TG Omori has been a significant figure in the Nigerian music industry, known for directing videos for top artists such as Olamide, Wizkid, and Burna Boy. His recent health struggles have sparked concern among fans, many of whom have offered their support and prayers for his recovery.

As he continues to navigate this challenging time, TG Omori remains hopeful and is urging his followers to keep him in their thoughts.
