Nollywood actress Bukunmi Oluwasina has tied the knot with her boyfriend Ebun in an intimate ceremony, after eleven years of being together.
An excited Bukunmi took to her Instagram page to share a clip of her wedding day alongside an old picture of their early days with a lengthy caption.
She wrote, “LOVE IS PATIENCE, FORGIVENESS, NEVER GIVING UP, And above all, it’s not just about buying a woman all the luxuries in the world, but about making her happier and more relaxed than a woman who has all the luxuries in the world”
She also explained in the caption that she was leaving for the university in 2010 when she asked her then boyfriend turned husband to give her something to hold so as to always remind her of him. He then gave her his wristband; she laughed and promised to keep it forever and even wear it on their wedding day.
She wrote, “I told you I would keep it forever and maybe wear it on our wedding day. You laughed and said, “That’s if we don’t end up breaking up when we enter UNIVERSITY, and you start meeting better guys”. It’s 11 years now, and I have met a lot of men like you said…but haven’t, and will never stop choosing you over EVERYONE”.
The film star also shared how supportive her husband has been of her career; encouraging and helping her to improve on the stories that have earned her awards.
