Kanye West set to ditch CD’s for streaming

Kanye West has taken to his favourite social medium, Twitter to announce that would no longer be releasing his music using CD’s.

In a series of tweets, Kanye West made the declaration, revealing that he will no longer be releasing his albums on CD.

As if to buttress his point, Kanye’s latest album, The Life of Pablo, is currently exclusive to the streaming service, TIDAL.

The rapper is yet to announce any  plans for the album’s release on any other streaming or download service, talk less of CD’s.

At this point, its hard to tell the effect this move will make on his sales but only time will tell.
