Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are now parents! The 30-year-old pop star and his 27-year-old model-entrepreneur wife welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Jack Blues Bieber.
Justin announced the happy news on Instagram on Friday, August 23, writing, “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER.” Hailey quickly shared the same photo on her Instagram Stories, adding a teddy bear and blue heart emoji.
Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, celebrated her grandson’s arrival on Twitter, writing, “CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey. I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!” Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, echoed her sentiments by sharing Pattie’s tweet and adding, “Amen, congratulations to you, and may God continue to bless our family.”
The couple first shared the news of their pregnancy in May 2024. At the time, Hailey’s representative confirmed that she was just over six months pregnant. The announcement came through Instagram, featuring a video from their vow renewal ceremony. In the video, Hailey wore a long, lacy white dress and veil, proudly displaying her growing baby bump. Additional photos captured the couple in a serene field, with Justin embracing Hailey from behind, showcasing their matching wedding rings.
Justin and Hailey’s love story began with their marriage in September 2018 when they tied the knot in a New York City courthouse just two months after getting engaged. They later celebrated with a larger ceremony in Bluffton, South Carolina, where they exchanged vows and Tiffany wedding bands as the sun set.
In an October interview with GQ Hype, Hailey addressed the frequent pregnancy rumors, candidly discussing how they affected her. “It’s disheartening when people assume, ‘Oh my God, she’s pregnant,’ just because I look bloated,” she shared. “When the time comes, the internet will be the last to know.”
Looking Forward to Motherhood
Despite concerns about raising children in the spotlight, Hailey expressed her excitement for motherhood, acknowledging that it’s “probably totally unavoidable.” She emphasized the importance of privacy, saying, “Motherhood is something I look forward to, but it’s a private, intimate thing that will happen when it’s meant to.”
Justin has been open about his desire to start a family with Hailey. In a December 2020 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he shared that he was respecting his wife’s timeline. “I want to have as many [babies] as Hailey is willing to push out,” he said. “But it’s her body, and whatever she wants to do. … I think she wants to have a few.”
