Renowned Nigerian music video director ThankGod Omori Jesam, better known as TG Omori, has reached out for public prayers following a failed kidney transplant.
The director, who has been relatively low-profile recently, revealed that he underwent the transplant after battling kidney failure for the past year. His brother served as the kidney donor.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, TG Omori expressed his distress, stating, “One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicolas Hospital in Lagos. Pray for me.” He later tweeted about his experience in the operating room, emphasizing his determination to survive: “Went into this theater three times; I wasn’t destined to die today.”
