A Disneyland Resort employee has died following a serious accident on Wednesday.
Authorities reported that the Anaheim Police Department and Anaheim Fire and Rescue responded to a call just before 11:30 a.m. about a traffic collision that occurred backstage at the Southern California resort.
“Upon arrival, police and fire personnel discovered that a Disneyland employee had fallen from a moving golf cart and struck her head,” spokesperson Jonathan McClintock told NBC News.
The employee, identified by Disneyland as Bonnye, was taken to a hospital where she died two days later.
I used to work with Bonnye, and she was quite literally the kindest human who worked at the Disneyland Resort. This is truly very sad for her family and fellow Cast at the Club. 😔😔😔 https://t.co/G7gXAVFQCr pic.twitter.com/KkHyh9gVXD

Anaheim Police traffic detectives are investigating the accident.
