Jake Gyllenhaal is gearing up for another round of action in the upcoming sequel to the thrilling remake, “Road House,” announced by Amazon on Tuesday.
In this follow-up to the 1989 classic, Gyllenhaal reprises his role as Elwood Dalton, a former UFC fighter turned bouncer hired to maintain order in a rowdy roadhouse owned by Jessica Williams in the Florida Keys. The actor underwent a notable physical transformation for the part, engaging in intense brawls with Billy Magnussen’s rich businessman character and the menacing hitman, played by real-life UFC legend Conor McGregor.
